SOMAC Control 20mg
Somac Control is an over-the-counter medicine for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (e.g. heartburn, acid reflux) in adults. Somac Control contains the active ingredient pantoprazole, which blocks the "pump" that produces stomach acid. It therefore reduces the amount of acid in your stomach. Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the esophagus, which can become inflamed and painful. This can cause symptoms such as a painful burning sensation in the chest that rises into the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid reflux). This can be achieved by combining the treatment with antacids (eg Titralac) in the first few days. It is important to read the package insert carefully before use.
