The effervescent tablet can be divided into two equal doses. At the start, Granon should not be taken late in the evening as at the start of the treatment there will be thinner mucus that will be coughed up. This can disturb your night's sleep. Read the package insert before use. Precautions: Use with caution in asthma, stomach ulcers or histamine intolerance. Contact a doctor if you cough up blood-stained mucus, if you do not improve or get worse after 7 days of treatment. Contains 99 mg of sodium per tablet. If you follow a sodium-reduced diet, this must be taken into account.
